Classes
Line Dancing 101/Intro is for
those with no previous line dancing experience in steps or terms and possibly any who have not danced in quite a while. It is a progressive class meaning steps taught each week will be used again, then adding new ones. It will work best for those who can commit to all 9 weeks. You will be encouraged to view demos /teaches for dances each week.

Day: Wednesdays
Time: 5:30 - 6:45
Fee: $6 (1 class free if prepaid in full)
Easy Beginner is for those with some previous experience in line dancing and are familiar with the basic steps such as vine, K, jazz boxes, pivots, V, rocking chair, step locks, points, holds, struts, bumps, along with simple syncopation. A basic understanding of Rumba and Waltz rhythms is helpful. All are done with frequent repetition and minimal turns.

Day: Thursdays
Time: 12-1pm
Fee: $5 for 1 hour, $9 for 2, $11 for 3 on the same day. Combine a 1/2 hour with any other class for $7.
Solid Beginner is for those with a solid understanding of the basic steps of Easy Beginner. Other steps such as scissor, monterrey, multiple turns, switches will be taught as well as slightly more difficult combinations of steps, turns and syncopation. Dances with tags and restarts will be introduced along with the rhythms/steps of Tangos and Sambas.

Time: 1-2pm
Fee: $5 for 1 hour, $9 for 2, $11 for 3 on the same day. Combine a 1/2 hour with any other class for $7.
Beyond Beginner is for those with a solid understanding of most all dance steps and genres of music. Faster tempo dances with more difficult step/turn combinations and syncopation will be taught. Most dances will be Improver level, with some Intermediate.

Save time and pre-register. When you arrive, your information will already be on the sign-in sheet. Please plan to arrive at least 10 minutes before class to allow time to sign-in, pay, grab a snack or drink and be ready to start along with me.
